South African Airways latest UK Domestic Add-on Fares

The national flagship carrier of South Africa, South African Airways (SA) has announced its latest UK Domestic Add-on Fares with British Airways and BMI airline last week.

The amazingly low business class and economy domestic add on fares, are aimed at accommodating UK travelers looking for domestic connection flights to reach London, Heathrow and carry on onward International travel. South African Airways is a prime carrier for flights to Johannesburg and Cape Town. The carrier also offers flights to Durban city via Johannesburg and has its hub located at London Heathrow Airport.

South African Airways International states that domestic add on flights with British Midland (bmi) airline and British Airways (BA) can be booked for departure from Aberdeen, Belfast, Edinburg, Glasgow and Manchester ranging between 35 GBP approx for one way to 70 GBP approx for Return flights in economy class and 85 GBP approx one way to 165 GBP approx return in Business class domestic add on fares from / to London. *Please inquire for taxes and conditions.

Please note some specified British Airways flights are excluded from this offer. These flights include Flight number BA 1504-1999, BA 3000-6199, BA 6450-6499, BA 6670-6699, BA 7000-7949, BA 8300-8699 and BA 9000-9999.

In case where no Business Class cabin is available on UK Domestic route, travelers can book economy cabin in Y class. Also please note that the above fares must be ticketed on the same ticket as the International Itinerary or long haul International flights. South African airlines popular International routes include flights to Cape Town, Johannesburg, Bloemfontein, Pretoria, Durban, Harare and many African as well as other destinations across the continents.

These flight fares are only advertised in UK. The accompanied children aged between 2 – 11 years inclusive pay 75% of the adult fare and Infants under 2 years not occupying a seat pay 10% of the adult fare.

The fares can be combined with British Midland and British Airways flights. However code share flight numbers are not permitted except on the SA code.            The carrier also stated that Business Class add-ons may only be used when travelling internationally in Premium Class with South African Airways to/from South Africa.

Also, these fares must be ticketed on the same ticket as the International journey. As all UK Domestic fares are subject to change giving 7 days notice, so better get booking as soon as possible.
